Welcome to the Augur Blog!

Ah, beginnings. Since the beginning, Augur Magazine has been dedicated to creating a literary space for the futures we need. Here’s another one.

Today is the beginning of our blog — another space in which we invite like-minded people to create important conversations through the written word. Another space to celebrate uncommon perspectives, intersectional narratives, and writers from the North.

Although less fiction-focused than our magazine, we hope the blog will become an extension of the community we were welcomed into since the publication of our first issue in 2017.

The wonderful authors, poets, and artists who have contributed to the magazine have helped us highlight under-represented perspectives in the literature.

On the blog, you’ll hear us shout out more creators we love, get a taste of the things we nerd out about behind-the-scenes, and read our thoughts on all things speculative fiction.
