don’t die—we have to go to the mitski pop up shop this weekend!

by Blake Levario and Victoria Mbabazi

i’m devastated         i couldn’t find my air guitar         so i sat still

on the train        directionless         no vibes pushing me forward         uncouth

posturizing        feeling very leo moon       feeling like—

I’ve been doing everything wrong the bird astrologers said to use today for manifesting but I’m dedicated to reruns and rewinding but I can still help you find your air guitar it’s busking on fifth street it’s sorry it didn’t have enough change for the train but the direction you’re in is home try your electric try anything else—

try therapy bro looked at me and said: cope                okay

i’m on fifth street        like you, i do everything the wrong way        but ppl still love you

you know that right             you could fall off and make the front page

run to twitter if you’re lonely—

I don’t like running I get winded easy how about we go for a walk stare at the clouds try not to soak our socks in dirty snow water I guess we are running out of time I have fifteen minutes left of this lunch break and then I clock in and barely get paid for it I’ll scroll my timeline during my billable hours I can’t afford therapy (like you) my alt is what I’ll give my grandchildren when I pass they’ll be so very embarrassed they’ll never get it I used to be so very funny they’ll say baddie is corny they’ll think Sicilian is derogatory—

to inherit the manic moments of a canadian     to witness someone sicilian passing

where even are we    i threw basil at a mountie      got banned from Saskatchewan

i will never chill in a pool of syrup    full of sugar     my heart is a waffle

i hope you’re hungry

I mean I guess I could go for a poutine but I’m not sure if you like those and don’t worry about that Mountie this Canadian will not abandon you we’ll continue doing everything wrong but let’s do it politely quietly near the Georgian bay the water is blue and dead there you don’t have to pass as anything throw your phone out the window fuck gps being directionless will be painless bathing in syrup is gross anyway you never needed that have a cup of hot cocoa instead sit by the fire shut the fuck up
